[English]

This research was conducted with the aim of predicting post-traumatic growth in adolescents with domestic violence experience based on cognitive flexibility and self-efficacy. The research was correlational. The statistical population of the research included all teenagers with experience of domestic violence who had a case in Mashhad welfare in 2023, from which 180 people were selected by available sampling. Demographic information checklist, post-traumatic growth inventory (Tedeschi & Calhoun, 1996), cognitive flexibility inventory (Dennis & Vander-wal, 2010), and general self-efficacy questionnaire (Sherer & Madox, 1982) were used to collect information. Data analysis was done with Pearson correlation test and multiple regression with SPSS-v26 statistical software. The results of the research showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between the total score of self-efficacy (r=0.629, p<0.05), and each of its dimensions with post-traumatic growth in teenagers who experienced domestic violence. This relationship between the total score of cognitive flexibility (r=0.589, p<0.05), and each of its dimensions with post-traumatic growth in the sample was positive and significant. The results of the regression analysis also showed that the predictor variables were able to explain 31% of the variance of the post-traumatic growth score in teenagers who experienced domestic violence. According to the results, it can be concluded that cognitive flexibility and self-efficacy have an effect on post-traumatic growth and with training and interventions that include improving self-efficacy and cognitive flexibility, the amount of post-traumatic growth in teenagers can be reduced. Raised with experience of domestic violence.
