The aim of this study is to develop a supported employment training package and to examine its effectiveness on emotional self-regulation in people with intellectual, developmental disabilities and neurological and mental diseases. The research method in the present research method is a combination of two qualitative and quantitative methods in the preparation of a training package of qualitative content analysis method with a comparative approach and in quantitative measurement of a semi-experimental type with a pre-test and post-test design. 30 members of the target community were selected by targeted sampling from the welfare support production workshop and randomly placed in two Test and control groups. Miller and brown's emotional self-regulation questionnaire was used to collect research data. The self-regulatory questionnaire was developed by Miller, Brown, and laundowski in 1999 to evaluate self-regulatory processes. The questionnaire consists of 63 items and 7 sub-scales (acceptance, evaluation, launch, review, planning, implementation and measurement) designed to measure the overall ability to regulate behavior. The information obtained using descriptive and inferential statistics was analyzed by the SPSS software. The results showed that the sponsored employment training package on emotional self-regulation is associated with meaningful effectiveness. It is recommended that the results of the present study be used to improve the psychological status of people with developmental IQ disabilities and neurological and mental diseases.
