[English]

This research was conducted with the aim of designing and testing a model of the effect of anxious and avoidant organizational attachment styles on job well-being and occupational depression with the mediation of adaptive performance. The design of the current research was applied and its method was descriptive and correlational. The statistical population of the research was the employees of Ahvaz water and sewage organization. The research sample included 200 of these employees who were selected by simple random sampling. In order to collect data from organizational attachment questionnaires (Finney et al, 2020), adaptive performance (Charbonnie Voirin et al, 2010), psychological well-being in the workplace (Dagenais-Desmarais and Savoie, 2011) and occupational depression (Bianchi and Schonfeld, 2020) was used. For data analysis, structural equation modeling model, Spss-24 and Amos-24 software and bootstrap method were used. The results showed that the designed model has a good fit. Also, the findings showed that the paths of organizational attachment anxiety to adaptive performance, job well-being and occupational depression were significant at the level of 0.001. In addition, the paths of avoidant organizational attachment to adaptive performance, occupational well-being and occupational depression were significant at 0.001. Also, the results of indirect path analysis showed that adaptive performance mediated the effects of anxious and avoidant organizational attachment on job well-being and occupational depression. Therefore, it can be concluded that adaptive functioning has been able to explain the effect of anxious and avoidant organizational attachment on job well-being and occupational depression.
