[English]

The purpose of the present study was to investigate develop a model of sexual satisfaction based on secure attachment style and emotional expressiveness with the mediating role of compromising conflict resolution style in working couples. This was descriptive-correlation research. The statistical population of the study was working couples who of Tehran city in year 2023. The sample size was selected based on Klein's model (2023) and with subjectivw sampling of 434 couples. Data collection tools include the sexual satisfaction questionnaire (SSQ) of Larson and et al (1998), attachment styles questionnaire (ASQ) of Hazen and Shaver (1987), emotional expressiveness questionnaire (EEQ) of King and Emmons (1990) and Rahim organizational conflict inventory-II (ROCI-II) of Rahim (2003). Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and structural equations modeling. The results showed direct effect of secure attachment style (β= 0.69, p=0.001) and emotional expressiveness (β= 0.61, p=0.001) on sexual satisfaction are significant. The results also showed that compromising conflict resolution style has a significant mediating role in the relationship between secure attachment style (β = 0.65 and p = 0.001) and emotional expressiveness (β = 0.42, p = 0.001) with sexual satisfaction. Also, the final research model had a good fit (RMSEA=0.03, SRMR=0.06, p<0.05) and 85% of the variance of sexual satisfaction is explained. According to the findings of this research and the role of secure attachment styl, emotional expressiveness and compromising conflict resolution style in sexual satisfaction in working couples, it is suggested that the results of this study be used to increase sexual satisfaction in working couples in Tehran city.
