[English]

Children's experiences from the family of origin have an effect on their marital relationships in adulthood. The present study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the influencing indicators of the family of origin on the marital conflicts of men and women referring to counseling centers with a qualitative approach and phenomenological method. The statistical population of the research included men and women with marital conflict who referred to counseling centers and psychological services in Marand city. The sample size included 18 participants who were selected by non-probability and purposeful method. The tool of the current research was a semi-structured interview. The data were coded and analyzed by thematic analysis. After coding the interviews and categorizing the themes, 3 main cultural-social, economical and family themes were obtained. The results showed that if the family of origin does not have the necessary quality in raising the children and has not taught them the appropriate behavior pattern, it is possible that they will face various problems in their next life, including marital conflict.
