Purpose: The purpose of this research was to compare the level of anxiety and productivity of athletic and non-athletic employees of Islamic Azad University, Ahar Branch. Method: This study was of a causal-comparative type and among the total university employees, according to the university's physical education department, 24 athletic employees and 24 non-athletic employees (11 women and 13 men in each group) completed a personal information questionnaire, Agio model productivity questionnaire, and Spielberger anxiety questionnaire. After collecting the data, the data were analyzed using two-way analysis of variance statistical methods. Findings: Statistical analysis according to the F ratio obtained at a 99% confidence level showed that there was a significant difference in anxiety and productivity variables for the groups (athletes and non-athletes) in men and women. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, it can be concluded that the anxiety and productivity of athletic and non-athlete employees are different, and athletic employees have lower anxiety and higher productivity compared to non-athlete employees.
