The statistical population included all married people who are members of the Instagram social network. among them, 543 people were selected convenience sampling method. Pearson correlation and linear regression methods have been used to analyze the data, and structural equation modeling using smartpls3 software has been used to check the research hypotheses. Results: The results show that the presented model has a good fit and Instagram addiction can play a mediating role between personality traits and marital commitment. Conclusion: Considering the effects of lack of marital commitment on couples, families and society, identifying the variables involved in this matter can provide the basis for planning prevention and treatment, and it seems that Instagram addiction is one of the factors affecting the reduction of marital commitment.
