The instruments of this study were cardiac self-efficacy questionnaire of Sullivan & et al (1998), questionnaire of self-care Jarasma & et al (2003) and questionnaire of quality of life related to health Kasinski and Keller (1996). The collective data was analyzed by path analysis. The results show that there are positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy, self-care and health-related quality of life in people with coronary artery. Also the data showed that path coefficient relationship between self-efficacy and health-related quality of life (β= 0.197) was positive significantly. Also Self-care mediates the relationship (β= 0.249) in patients with cardiovascular diseases (p<0.005). Based on the findings, it can be said that part of the effect of self-efficacy on health-related quality of life could be applied through self-care.
