Abstract

Abstract
This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of increased physical activity and verbal communication combination on life satisfaction of couples referring to counseling centers and psychological services under the supervision of welfare organizations and the psychological system of Qom. The current study was done with a sample size of 49 available couples (in three groups of physical activity, verbal communication, and a combination of both). The research method was experimental with pretest-posttest and follow-up stages. The physical activity of the sessions was performed for eight weeks, and each session lasted 60 minutes under the supervision of a physical education instructor. Data were collected using a life satisfaction questionnaire and analyzed by SPSS software via covariance analysis (ANCOVA). The findings revealed that increased physical activity with and without verbal communication is more effective than verbal communication alone on couples' life satisfaction.
