		<Abstract>The aim of this research was comparing the emotion regulation strategies and mindfulness in students with and without obsessive believes. The sample in this study consists of 291 participants which were selected through cluster sampling method.  From these amount, 71 participants did have pathological obsessive believes.  The normal group people were matched with the abnormal group considering sex, age and educational fields.  Participants were asked to complete the emotion regulation and Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaires (FFMQ). Data was analyzed through multiple analyses of variance (MANOVA). The result revealed that two groups have significant difference in subscales of suppression and reappraising of emotion regulation strategies. Also two groups had significant differences in mindfulness and subscales of acting with awareness, non reaction to inner experience and no judgment to inner experience.</Abstract>
