The present study aims to done investigate fittness the causal-structural of internet addiction based on rumination and self-control with mediating role of perceived stress among adolescents. The research method was applied and it was descriptive-correlational type. The statistical population of this researcher was all girls adolescent who were studying in the high school in Shahriar city in academic year of 2021-2022. The according convenience sampling method, 300 people by Kline (2023) formula of was selected as samples and they were asked to fill in interne addiction test (IAT), ruminative response scale (RRS), perceived stress scale (PSS) and self-control scale (SCS). Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and structural equation modelling with using SPSS-24 and AMOS software was investigated. Results also showed that most of the direct paths of this study were significant and indirect paths of rumination and self-control were significant through the mediating role of perceived stress on internet addiction. Also, proposed model had an acceptable fitness to the data and analyses also revealed that 65% of the variance of internet addiction is explained by rumination and self-control with mediating role of perceived stress. According to the obtained results, the managers and policy makers of the education organization can manage the internet addiction of adolescents students by providing the conditions for the growth of self-control and reducing rumination and perceived stress.
