The stepwise multivariate regression method was used to analyze the data. The results revealed that the neuroticism and psychoticism plays an important role in predicting female students' Psychopathology. The findings of the present study can be used practically for clinical psychology.

The purpose of this study was to study the effectiveness of metacognitive strategies training on active, auditory and visual memories in students. The statistical population consists of all students of Islamic Azad University, Sari branch that have registered in the first semester of study at this university and they have volunteered to take part in the training of metacognitive strategies. According to stratified random sampling those who had registered for this course assigned to the subclasses. Then 90 person were selected randomly and the random assignment of subjects were divided into two experimental and control groups. The experimental group spent training metacognitive strategies in conjunction with the text of coursework in 9 sessions and control group did not receive special education. Wechsler Memory Scale was used to measure students' memory and subjects completed it three times, beginning and end of the semester, and after five months. Multivariate analysis of covariance was used to analyze data. Results indicated that teaching metcognitive strategies only has a positive effect on students' visual and associative memory that this positive effect not maintained at follow-up test and were not significant differences in any of the subscales between the two groups.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of stress on memory function according to the mediatory effects of personality construct, hardiness. The design was Quasi-experimental with post-test and control groups. The study sample included 60 male and female undergraduate students from Tabriz University which were selected through field-scale screening for the Personal Views Survey 30 persons obtained high hardiness and 30 persons remained get low. Each of these two groups were divided into two types: Experimental and Control; so that four groups were created: Experimental with high hardiness, Experiment with low hardiness, Control with high hardiness & Control with low hardiness. The four groups were compared in terms of overall score and sub-scales scores of Wechsler Memory Scale. Hypotheses and research questions were tested through one-way analysis of variance, multivariate and post-hoc tests. Analysis showed that in the main hypothesis, there is no significant difference between experimental with high hardiness and experimental with low hardiness in terms of total memory score. Neither is significant difference between experimental and control groups with high hardiness, nor any significant difference between experimental & control groups with low hardiness in terms of total memory score. But all groups of study were significantly different in case of two sub-scales scores: digit repeating and orientation.

The present study was a semi-experimental study using control group, pre-and post-test & follow- up design. Statistical sample was 40 girl Adolescents with Anorexia Nervosa, who were selected by purposive sampling and diagnostic interviews among whom referred to medical and psychological centers in Isfahan. Participants were randomly assigned into two controls and experimental groups. Then experimental group participated in 12 sessions for Schema therapy. Both groups completed Eating Disorder Beliefs Questionnaire (EDBQ) and Internalized Shame Scale in pre-and post test and follow-up (10 weeks). At the end, results between 2 groups were compared through multivariate analysis of covariance. The results showed that the mean scores of post-test and follow-up in experimental group are significantly lower than of the control group. The findings of this research, confirmed the effect of group Schema therapy in reducing the Eating Disorder beliefs and shame in girls with Anorexia Nervosa, and it can be useful for determining clinical interventions and treatment planning in this healthy problem.

In a semi experimental, design a sample consisting 80 students from Tabriz Islamic Azad University were chosen and investigated. After testing with Beck anxiety test the sample divided into two groups (40 individuals in anxious group and40 individuals in normal group) and Memory computer task was conducted. The data was analyzed by MANOVA method. The result showed that anxious individuals have significant bias in react to positive words meaningfully relative to normal individuals but in neutral words normal individuals shown significant bias. In general, Conclusion: Anxious individuals shown more bias to memory relative to normal individuals.

The results were analyzed by descriptive statistics, two ways ANOVA with repeated measurement and covariance analysis. The results showed that there was a meaningful difference between the performances of two groups and the experimental group performance had been improved in post- test1 and was stable in post- test2 the research Findings emphasis the necessity of social skill training improvement of theory of mined and prevalence of aggression.

The purpose of this research was to design and study of preliminary psychometric and validation characteristic of Iranian family psychological function scale. Therefore, 410 of teenagers, youths and their parents, completed the questionnaire after designing it as a sample in Mashhad city .So 52 youth to re-test, answered the questionnaire again. After gathering data, cronbach alpha related all of questionnaire questions, each of dimensions and allocation of finding equivalents raw scores changed to Z standard with =50 and SD=10 (t score). The result showed that questionnaire dimension have valid sufficient on re-test. So total cronbach's alpha in this questionnaire have high valid, but related with questionnaire dimension the result showed that some dimension have low valid that by removing inappropriate questions in each of dimensions, the validity increased. Thus, IFPFS can be used as a reliable and valid tool for evaluating Iranian family psychological function.
